Blissful Blessings!!

Today was a wonderful Sunday! I got to teach a class full of beautiful 3-year-olds who LOVE to yell about how much Jesus loves them, and then all 12 Hiesters went to Panera for lunch! I have to tell you, we have some of the cutest kids in town :) Not that I am biased or anything.....but I digress!

After our hour of family fellowship, we came home and put on our comfy clothes and grabbed blankets and piled all five of us, one upon the other, on our couch to watch a movie. It started raining, which we all agree is a wonderful thing, and so we went out in the back and ran around in it for about ten minutes, yelling and laughing and most likely scaring the neighbors, who are probably already convinced we are crazy and needed no further evidence of that fact!

We came in wet and happy, and had to change into more comfy clothes. Thank goodness we all have an ample supply of such things, it would be terribly inconvenient if we had to wear something uncomfortable! We then decided that chocolate chip cookies are the thing to have after a good romp in the rain, and so we dug out loads of bowls and supplies and went about making two batches of deliciously delightful cookies that were eaten as soon as they emerged from the oven! We did save most of them however, it being before dinner and all. That for those of you that were just shaking your heads and sighing at the shameful practice of cookie consumption pre-meal.

We all took a vote and settled on tomato soup and grilled cheese for dinner, and set about it quickly so that we could of course get back to the cookies :) After dinner we ALL did the dishes while dancing to Michael Jackson tunes, and then Chad and the kids threw a ball around in the living room( Payton is always the monkey in the middle, poor thing) while I made hot tea for everyone. I carried a tray of tea and cookies triumphantly into the living room, and we all enjoyed the fruits of our labor while we talked about our lessons from church today.

I have to say, before I go and tuck my girls in for the night;

I LOVE MY LIFE!!

Thank you Lord for all you have blessed me with. Your Grace is truly never ending! :)

Good night friends :)
