Today Payton got sent to her room for yelling. When I went in to talk to her about why she was in trouble, she had a very interesting way of explaining her offense.
When I asked her if she understood why yelling at someone was the wrong way to get their attention, she acted offended. "I wasn't yelling at her Mom", she stated with tiny hands on tiny hips, "I just like talking at people very loud."
Priceless :)
My family is one large sea of estrogen with my poor husband braving the tide ALL by himself! We torture him frequently with our emotional outbursts, wanting to talk about feelings, and crafts involving glitter. He is rapidly discovering that women are a mystery that shall never be solved, and should therefore just be cherished for the wonder that we are. Seriously. Poor guy. Kids say the funniest things sometimes! I am going to use that line next time. You do such a great job writing your blogs. They make me laugh, smile, etc.
